WRATE: An easy to use Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) software for integrated municipal solid waste management planning and research: free of charge for students

WRATE (wrate.co.uk): is a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) software with a graphical user phase (GU) used to evaluate the environmental impacts of waste municipal solid management activities and systems during their entire life-cycle. It comes with the popular and the widely used ecoenvint v2.0 (Life Cycle Inventory (LCI) database). The software allows users to track the environmental impacts from system collections (e.g., kerbside collection) to sophisticated waste treatment facilities, including anaerobic digestion, landfilling, recycling, incineration, etc.
